Senior Adult Ministry

Our Senior Adults are a critical part of North Cheyenne Baptist Church. Senior Adults are prayer warriors and spiritual leaders, and it is their vision for ministry and church growth that helps strengthen our church's spiritual foundation. Our Senior Adults are not overlooked at NCBC. We know that Senior Adults are a vital part of our church. Our Senior Adults are committed to developing and using their gifts, skills and experiences in the life and ministry of the church. We also seek to provide events, resources, and opportunities that encourage ongoing spiritual growth and fellowship.

Senior Adults can minister more to one another and to the younger generation, sharing their wisdom and experiences.

We have an active Senior Adult group; not only attending services regularly, but ministering any time and any where we see a need. Besides our regular services at the church we meet once a month for fellowship and for ministry by providing meals for shut ins; by putting together goodies boxes for our military overseas; by providing gift cards for children at the beginning of the school year; by providing outings for those that can't get out by themselves; provide May baskets for older seniors; We have ice cream socials, pie suppers, St. Patrick's Day celebration, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner, pot luck meals and snacks with game time.

We are open to other Seniors around Cheyenne and have several other churches involved.
